Default C41 Film souped in ECN-2 Chemicals?

I’m new to the form, so feedback on my method of inquiry here is welcomed.

I have mixed up my own ECN-2 chemicals for processing Kodak Vision3 500T cinema film. I’ve been pleased with the results, and I have enjoyed the process.

I’m planning to test this, but I thought I’d ask the forum before I took on the cross process!

Does anyone one know if processing C41 film (e.g. Kodak Gold 200) in my ECN-2 chemicals is a reasonable thing to do?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Joey.

Sorry, can't help with the question. It's a bit obscure, but it would not surprise me if someone here has tried it!

But, welcome to the forum anyway!

Cheers, Bob.

I've successfully developed Cinestill film (Kodak vision 3 with remjet pre-removed) in C41 chemicals. The films are clearly very closely related, so I would be very surprised if it didn't work the other way round. There's only one way to find out for sure.

Sorry, Joey, this one is way "beyond my ken" but compared to others here I am a relative newcomer to matters photographic and not a very adventurous newcomer at that. However plenty people here are not newcomers so hopefully there are useful answers
