Box for filters.
I use 67mm filters on my medium format cameras; yellow, green, orange, red, a linear poloriser and one or two nd's. I tend to screw them in a stack and carry them in an old lens case. I would prefer to just screw only two or three together and put them in a round tin or plastic case. Has anyone found or used a suitable sweet, polish, food, anti-wrinkle cream container that I could use? I have used a soft wallet in the past but I was always worried that the filters would get damaged especially when they were carried in my rucksack. Keeping the filters in their original cases is not an option they just take up too much room and the extra weight is excssesive. When I hike I like to keep my rucksack as light as possible.

Best of luck Norm. Now I come to think of it big metal tins of the kind you want seem scarce these days. The deeper special travel sweet tins might do the trick. Of course these days you pay for the nostalgia of getting tins of this nature, belonging it seems to the days of steam travel.

there is a toothpowder that comes in plastic containers - Unfortunately I cannot remember the name at present , it should take filters up to and beyond 67mm, just take care to remove the toothpowder!

I use that toothpowder. It's called Eucryl and the inside diameter of the container is about 70mm.

The next time I go to a supermarket I will take my filters and offer them up against various containers to see if I can find something suitable. The Eucryl container sounds promising.

Found a plastic food container with 4 snap fasteners at Tescos in the kitchen (food containers section).

I know the boxes you mean Norm as I have some but I didn't know that they came in such a small size?
