RRB 2-blade easels
I use one of these which allows an image size up to 16x12 with 2" borders. When I make full frame 35mm images on 8x10 paper, I achieve an image area of 6x9 with 1" borders on the long sides and 1/2" on the short. Setting up is easy as I adjust the stops to the correct border size, then set the blades at 6" and 9" on their respective scales.
I had to use a similar, but smaller version at my night class on Tuesday. I set it up as described above, but the border sizes, and proportions were all wrong. The question is, do these easels have different methods of set-up depending on size, or some other factor? Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to waste valuable time in class trying to get even borders. Thanks, Alex. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 |
