One speaker to my camera club, did a project on street photography. He did it a totally different way though and he did use a didgie camera, but there's no reason a film one couldn't be used.

He put his camera in a plastic carrier bag, and poked the lens through a hole. He used a IR shutter release to take the exposures. He said that a lot of pictures were no good, with just pictures of peoples legs and feet, but some of them that he showed us were very good.

And arrived two days ago - two lovely prints in warm tone showcasing exhibits in a museum. Prints are quite opposite in lighting - one bathed in sun (pun intended as it shows an old bathtub hanging on the wall) and quite high key, other one (showing a weaved basket) having strong shadows. I must say that this is a first time (I believe) I have personally seen a print on MG Art 300 paper and, oh my, isn't it fabulous Worked superbly with deep shadows and the texture is something else.

Thanks for the prints Richard

Just back from a short break and received a stunning print from Mike. It shows a bold interpretation of a part of a wall at the Roman settlement, Vindolanda.
Really like the framing and composition and there are lots of shapes, lines, textures and forms to keep the eye busy.
A great print!

Many thanks and sorry for the late reply.

By some miracle my offering will finally be in the post as soon as my Post Office opens its doors at 9am. Lucky for me this is a leap year and February has 29 days!

Hi Marty,
Well arrived yesterday. I am again blessed by a splendid trio of prints. They were all made at the same location. Each one is excellent, but all three of them conjure superbly the wonderful mood of the place.

I am with you on your joyful feeling of using this equpment this way. I have the same lens with just a slightly different camera. Taking your time with viewing the image through the waste level finder is just great. I should follow your example soon again & definitely start printing on this paper, which waits in my darkroom. Adox posted the good news lately that they will revive MCC (and MCP) on their machines once current projects with Polywarmtone & Lupex are finished.
Best , Frank

Thanks Jakub, glad they got there safely and glad you like then, the difference is 2 different houses, the bath is in a house set in 1047, and is a lot brighter than the 17th century Hamptome house, with very small windows, low light and deep shadows, and indeed the art 300 is a lovely paper for the right subject, I llove it

Three prints arrived this morning from 3 different sized negatives - 2 MF and 35mm. All worthy additions to my collection and of very different subjects - a seaside scene, a woodland scene and an urban landscape. Thanks very much.
