I do not know which I prefer. I like the increased contrast of Terry S's but some of subtlety and the surface patterns in CambsIan's is lost. They are different interpretations: IMO both perfectly acceptable.

If I make more than one print of my own negs I have the same problem even if I had rejected one of them at the time of printing, If the reason is obvious I destroy and chuck it but if not I often hang on to them both. Then later I can't see what is wrong with either of them although there might be subtle differences, if I still have them both and can compare. Am I not critical enough, do not have strong likes or dislikes, or just plain indecisive?

I have just completed two sets of negative development of Delta 100 for some Beyond the Zone System (BTZS) tests and put them in the post back to Fred Newman in Phoenix Arizona.

I did two sets because I intend to develop all my future 5x4 negs using a Jobo 3010 drum in a Jobo CPP and then all my roll film sizes will be developed in Paterson tanks, so I have done a set of negs using a Mod 54.

The Mod 54 won't exactly replicate the film in reels - but will be very close.

I expect an email back from Fred in about 4~5 weeks with the results.

What I was surprised about was how the density in the densest steps of the negative continued to progressively increase with extended developing times.

Obviously, I'll have to wait for the exact measurements but I thought the greatest density increments might begin to compress as the film reached a maximum density plateau - but seemingly not so.

For those who are interested in the Zone System the book Beyond the Zone System by Phil Davis is still available through book shops like Amazon.
