Default Monochrome portraits, lighting and filters

Hi - I have been asked to photograph the wife of a good friend of mine using my film camera. I intend to use my Deardorff 10 x 8 camera using my Verito diffused focus lens with either HP5+ or Foma 100 (on your advice).

I plan to sit her in a chair and have the camera slightly above her nose-line. The lighting I want to use is daylight from a window although I could use a couple of daylight type fluorescent bulb in reflectors, either as a main light or fill in.

Unfortunately the lady in question has a rather red and blotchy facial complexion, I don't want to digitize the negative and play around in Photoshop.
I have heard that a green filter can be used to lighten the skin tones. Can you suggest filters that I can use?

Also she has a rather pronounced double chin that she wants me to 'get rid of !', any suggestions how to do this?

I am very new to doing portraits in monochrome and film, so any help would be welcome.

Thanks in advance.

nn

P.S. Please don't think the lady is a monster, whenever I visit there is always a good welcome and she is a very good cook!

P.P.S. Prints supplied would be 10 x 8 contacts possible slightly sepia toned.
