I would leave the boxers out as well as the tee shirt ,you can always go commando.
it will give you some space for a light meter .???? |

I would agree with BigPaul - out the boxers!!! For every pair of boxers you could pack 2 pairs of "speedos"

Indeed Paul - they are near perfect for storing a 300mm lens. Just make sure you position the lens at the front as it can look a little odd if around at the rear

Nothing Richard and I'm not allowed to put anything in her case.
She's like, very selfish. J.

With a 300mm lens in the speedos you'd definitely be in the "pleased to see you" group
BA baggage allowance is excellent. I took the 5x4 kit in a roller case and the Hasselblad + 3 lenses in a separate "small" bag to Arizona last year. When I weighed the full outfit it was over 23kgs! 22kgs is their limit for checked in baggage for the hold, but the only weight restriction for the overhead locker is that you are able to lift it in without assistance. It's amazing what the thought of the cost of excess baggage does for my weight-lifting capabilities... Have a good break when it comes Jon. We're back to Arizona again this year in September for a couple of weeks - no 5x4 this time, though (a recent sale) so it's going to be the miniature 120 and 35mm formats for me this time! Best regards EddieB |

well jon thats woman for you ,so you will have to leave at home the devere enlarger ,trays ,dev tank, drying cabinet, chemicals ect ect trevor,s idea is good but keep the rear lens cap on, the aperture blades can be very sharp, the cruellest cut of all .

A change of mind
An up date on the gear I'm taking!!
Because of the sheet film management problems while away on long trip I've decided not to take a 5x4. Instead I'm going to take the Ebony SW roll film camera two film backs a 38XL, 47XL, 80XL and 150 Sironar S with a top hat plus a Mamiya 7ii kit. Don't go until the weekend so may change my mind a few times yet. Getting excited now. J.

Have a great trip. I know you won't post your photographs on the web but I do hope I get to see one or two in exhibition

Thanks Trevor,
But the way I've got Peter Hogan send out some dev & fixer in advance so I can develop some rolls on the road, this should insure a productive trip. J.
