I have only once had to patch bellows, and only a very tiny patch, I used good old Gaffer tape, cut very carefully to fit, and used a very tiny amount of Bostick solvent free all purpose adhesive, this was a couple of years ago and I am still using the camera today with the patched bellows,
Richard

Hi Richard

I may end up going down that route as the 3m tape seems very hard to get hold of
I found it on us amazon but then found that they would not ship to England for some reason ...

thanks

Have you looked at liquid electrical tape? I have a some in black which is ideal for blocking up small holes.

Steve.

Aye, a dab of LET, reinforced with plain old sticky electrical tape on the inside is reliable for small holes.

Hi I used Liquid Electrical tape for a light leaky shutter curtain obtainable from here (no recommendation other than that as a customer) http://www.sotabeams.co.uk/liquidtape.htm and recommended on the Large Format Forum for repairing Bellows is Bookbinding Tape from here (no recommendation) http://www.ratchford.co.uk/showiteml...p?search=tape#

Hoping this helps

Default Very timely

Very timely discussion as I have a hole in my 5x4 bellows. I'll try the LET idea. Thanks...John

I've used black book binding tape for many years to re hinge film holders. It's usually available on the auction site etc.
