Another cost consideration would be that each alternative process usually requires a negative with a specific contrast range in order to get the best results obtainable. So if you are using several alterative processes expect to make several test negatives to establish the correct contrast.

Could you tell us where you bought them from Paul? Hopefully it will be a national chain...

ill
Thanks (B)ill

Having checked your link, Amazon recommended loads more as well, all with good reviews. I finally bought a pack of 50 to try at an even lower price than your link.

It might be interesting if people couple leave a review and if possible a link to acetates that they have used and have been happy with.

I bought some brand ones, ages ago now, and they were no better than some others I bought later at a much reduced price. So more expensive doesn't necessarily mean better in this case.

It was my local flea market I'm afraid. I've done an internet search and found this.

Sorry I posted before finishing.

Things like this sometimes turn in in places like Poundland or Wilkinsons.

Thanks again Paul. My Amazon order has now been received.

I will post my thoughts about the sheets when I get around to using them.

Not too sure on the quality of Poundland etc. acetate sheets for our purposes though, although willing to be proved wrong!

May I suggest that you contact the original neg onto ortho and then enlarge the ortho positive onto larger ortho film as a negative.
