I have just printed three old (ish) negs tonight up to 8x12. The general colour balance is as close as you will get but the negative of the bridge has deteriorated in the envelope and produced odd colouration in the sky and the bridge stonework.

They were all Fuji neg film, and printed onto Kodak paper using Ektacolour RA4 chemicals.

Well the sky in the first shot looks OK to me, John and while the stonework colour change does look a little strange, old stone bridges might change colour if two sets of stones have to be used. The colour in the third looks great.

If you had not pointed out that there was a colour change I would have taken it as normal. The images look great.

The originals look far better than the scanned versions. I made a point of doing nothing to enhance them. These are quite unsaturated compared to the 'real' thing, and the change in colour of the one with the bridge is more apparent.
