Avon "So-Soft" - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Avon-Skin-O...sect+repellent

It doesn't stop them all - only about 99% of them.

You need to put it in your hair too - the little b*gg"rs get everywhere

Its important which ever repellent you choose that you keep it handy and top yourself up at regular intervals - they all wear off at some point and you only find out about it as the biting and itching start.

Right, is that a normal route from west side of mountain? Right?

Good tip thanks

Probably I will stay one night in Glasgow before the trail. To buy food and all that stuff...

Anyway is it in the Glasgow any shop with films and some photographic equipment?

If you Google Glasgow Photograpic Outlets, there are two that jump out, Merchant City Cameras and Calumet.

There are others including Jessops but I am not sure they will stock film or at least a great selection.

The contact numbers and addresses or on the web.

Merchant City Cameras is in the City centre. Calumet is in a small industrial estate to the north of the city. It is very good, but Merchant City may be more accessible and will have all you need. Boots the Chemist in the St Enoch Centre may have some film.
I had a look online at climbing Ben Nevis and there is good information about the tourist path which is the preferred option for walking.

I would be happy to join you, but I am going to be in Spain on holiday at that time. The weather here in the Glasgow area has been very good over the past week. Bright and sunny, but cool. Ideal for walking. I hope it continues for your trip, and that you have an enjoyable experience.
