No according to the MSDS current Neofin Blue is no longer the Beutler formula just as modern Rodinal "RO9" is not the original Agfa formula since it's re-formulation when Agfa merged with Gevaert, or the re-formulation of Promicrol.

Not the same, have a look at it. I agree with your point though.

It was sold in the UK as Neofyn Blue originally, never with a D instead of the F. But that may have been different in other markets.

I use a lot of Beutler, mixed from the chemicals. It is best for fine grain films. Excellent with Kodak TMX, and very good for Pan F+ or FP4+. It gives a lot more grain than for instance ID-11. Not recommended for HP5+ or Tri-X.
