Default Hallo

From a Nova tent in Fife, Scotland. My current claim to fame(!) is that I have just (yesterday) bought Lee Frost's Beard easel on eBay! Proof, if proof were needed, that he has irrevocably gone over to the light side. I won't mention him again! Well, I was tempted by a Zorki 4 he was also selling, and he still has some Bronica Sq stuff for auction.
I'd like to say I am a sprightly young thing seduced from Digital (sorry) by the attractions of film, but I confess I'm an old git belatedly trying to recapture my schoolboy days when I loaded film on to my Paterson Major (which I still have) in the cupboard under the stairs, and contact printed my 6x9 negs in the bathroom (at least it was bigger than my Nova tent!) I've still got some negs from that time, over 50 years ago, but I'm blowed if I can remember what the camera was. So here I am trying to move on and learn how to make proper prints from an enlarger (a Meopta Magnifax from eBay, of course). So much to learn, and so little time in which to do it! You lot have so much to teach me!
Finally, mostly HP5 on a Bronica RF645, though I like XP2 in 35mm (just waiting for my first try at the new Ilford processing to come back).

Hello Len and welcome to FADU. I enjoyed reading your tale of woe and I am sure you will find FADU an inspiration!

Neil.

Hi Len,

Seen the light, albeit orange, at last.

Welcome to the Forum

Welcome to the forum Len. Nova dark tents are a cosy solution to the darkroom problem and I'm surprised more are not in use.

Welcome aboard Len. The wind must be a bit brisk up there in that tent!

Have fun, Bob.
