Barry has used Black on White recently for a service on his Fuji 6x9 and I know he was very pleased with what they did. When Barry sees this I'm sure he will add more. Neil.

Hi Tech Camera Repairs, at Newcastle Under Lyme did an excellent job for me on a 203mm Kodak Ektar lens. They repaired damaged aperture blades and serviced and re-calibrated the shutter for £53 including postage.
Very friendly and helpful to deal with. Alan |

I’ve used both Newton Ellis and Black on White and been happy with their service each time.

I should have said my CLA/Repairs have been with John Quantick at Black on White.

I had my old Rolleicord serviced just before lockdown. £165 including postage and VAT. Probably as much as the camera is worth today, but it is an old friend. Nice old camera.
I have dismantled and repaired a few old folders of my own in the past, all simple mechanicals, but would hesitate before opening up a thing like a Bronica lens. I should think it would be like comparing a watch mechanism to an old wind up alarm clock. Cheers.

A decent watch is easier to service or repair than an old wind-up alarm clock. With the right service manual, a MF or LF shutter is easier than either.

As mentioned by Neil, I have used Black on White in Bristol for my Fujl and some time back used them for some Mamiya RZ work. I fully recommend them.
