The piece is in our article section HERE

I have changed very little, a couple of extra shelves, not much else.

[QUOTE=............

Would normal exterior WBP ply be sufficient if I can't get marine ply ?, its gonna be well coated with floor paint

Andy[/QUOTE]

Real marine ply can be found if you go to proper builders merchants but it is very expensive. In places like B&Q they describe their ply as 'marine' but it's not the same quality that is used for marine purposes and is much cheaper. You can leave it out in the rain and it will survive for a while but with prolonged saturation it will start laminating. I decided to go with the cheaper version from B&Q as they would do all the cuts for me on their professional saw. Richard used MDF, which is an alternative, and he has been delighted with the result.

Neil,
The accurate cutting of it is what prompted the question> My local B+Q (homebase as well) can cut the wood on a wall saw, but the websites says they have no marine ply only exterior.

Interesting - our lot down here call it marine ply ! Go for the exterior ply and let them cut it up for you on their wall saw.

That's because you're near the sea, up my way I wouldn't be surprised if the lot up my way only thought the sea existed in Torremolinos

Welcome Andy,
If you go the fiber glass route don't forget to you gell coat resin as the other stuff is not water proof. Richards of Hull have some design ideas for different types of sink. good luck with the build.
