I've moved this to a new thread of it's own to avoid confusion...

Welcome aboard Keith!

Cheers, Bob.

Default Adding to my introduction

Thank you Bob. I was a little confused in my first visit to the site so welcome your intervention. I'm founder and President of Lancashire Monochrome (www.lancashiremonochrome.co.uk) and gained an FRPS from the Contemporary Panel in 2001 for a selection of images from an ongoing series about the Cumbrian Coast. I invented a nature for that coastline, a certain quirkiness, and continue to explore this personal invention through my photography of it. This is where the plea comes in for Technidol, which I began using with Kodak Technical Pan in 1994. All my work in monochrome has been based on this combination and my trusted Leica M6 with its standard 50mm lens. I have 150 or more rolls of Technical Pan left in my darkroom freezer and only a very little Technidol remaining.

In hope,

Keith

Hello Keith.
Your coastal project sounds interesting. Did your photographs feature in Black and White Photography magazine several years ago? If they did, and you know the issue number, I could look them up without wading through all my back-numbers.

Alan

Default Black&White Photography Interview

Hi Alan

A feature on my photography of the Cumbrian Coast appeared in the August 2007 issue (No. 75).

Regards

Hi Keith - delighted you've joined FADU, its great to have you onboard

Sorry to hear that your stocks of Technidol is depleting - is diluted Rodinal usable?

Keith is one of my favourite UK photographers and I'm pleased to say I have quite a few of his original silver prints in my collection - they are gorgeous

Smile Technidol

Hi Trevor

Thank you for the compliments. I haven't yet given up on finding Technidol and firmly believe this to be best matched to the film (or at least as I use it). This Spring, I was given a Hasselblad Xpan outfit on permanent loan and my huge enjoyment of this camera has led to the more rapid depletion of my own stock of Technidol (the Xpan shots have been taken specifically in support of that Blurb book on the Cunrian Coast work you've been so patiently waiting for and I promise to knuckle down to that production before the year is out).

Kindest regards

Keith
