Default Autumn Meeting 2009

Our first meeting has come and gone, those that attended seem to have enjoyed themselves, so it’s time to think about where to hold an Autumn meeting, assuming another is required!
I suggest that those interested first post their suggestions here in this thread of possible areas to visit. You won’t be committing yourself to attending. So, where would you like to go? It could be somewhere that you are familiar with, and feel others would enjoy visiting, or it could be a place that you haven’t been to, but would like to.
Later next month we will collate results and arrange a poll to determine the most popular possibilities, and also consider dates in detail.

Dave,

I would really love to go to Scotland as I've not been there for many a year.

I'll put a suggestion in for North Devon/Exmoor as we went North last time.

I'll throw in the Isle of Wight for consideration.

I will second the IOW as I haven't been there since 1954 :-)

Can I also suggest Portland. There is a good weekends worth at Portland Bill and the surrounding area. I am not the expert on this location but I have been there a couple of times - maybe a local member can assist with location suggestions ? Also the Heights Hotel on Portalnd Bill did a good deal for an RPS do I attended there back in the winter.
