Mamiya RB67 Pro SD & C Spec Lenses ?
I need the help of someone using a Mamiya RB67 Pro SD, regarding lens fitment.
Do "C" spec lenses fit directly on to an RD67 Pro SD - or do you need an adaptor ? The KL spec lenses were designed to go with the Pro SD body and I think there was a change to mounting bayonet. Hence the question. Thanks Martin |

Martin, according to my manual, you need a lens mount adapter to fit a C type lens to a Pro-SD.

The answer is no you don't.
The later cameras had a larger lens opening but the mount size is the same. The adaptor fits on the old lens to (I believe) aid locating and fitting the lens but I could see no other purpose. I think they increased the throat diameter when they introduced the 75mm shift lens. |
