Focus On Imaging 2012
A very comprehensive reply from Ilford today, stating the date of my postcard paper and thereby confirming that the batch numbering system is as stated here on FADU, made mention of things being hectic as it had been gearing up for the above
I hadn't even thought about it and now realise that there has been no mention about it here on FADU nor on the other big analogue site. In previous years I am sure I have seen something about it by now Can I take it that no-one here went although of course there is still tomorrow so some-one might still be going? I am just idly wondering if there was anything there that might have excited us. Mike |

Sorry Mike gave up going. Spend the money in the pub instead I find things develop better.

I went last year to support Silverprint who had a stand, but that apart I couldn't find anything worth the fuel cost so I haven't bothered this year.
I remember going on the Kodak stand and asking about film only to be met by blank looks; the staff clearly didn't know that Kodak make the stuff. I think that sums up the whole event. |

I went today and I too spoke with the same guys and Simon G from Ilford.
Bought some sheet film and spent about £7500 on electric camera stuff I can't speak about here. J.
