I got one also, but thought it sounded too good to be true, so didn't do anymore with it.

Not me, but I am getting a bunch of spam from some outfit called RitzPix - It gets filtered directly to the spam box.. In the last couple of days, another bunch of muppets by the dubious name of calumet.com have started to use the same email address to spam me.

Just waiting for Jessops.com to appear, then I'll be sending a few ripe kippers to their IT department

I sent an email to Firstcall. Still yet to hear back from them, though I've changed my password on their site.

Also got one, but spam filter shoved it into spam folder, did nothing with it apart from delete it.

Think I will have to visit Firstcall and see about my password.

Just visited and reset password

Sent the email to Firstcall and asked them to investigate it, no reply. Usual carrot something cheap or free, as the old saying goes if it sounds too good to be true... I do not have an account or password with Firstcall so I have no idea how they linked my email to Firstcall photographic.

if you look at the full email headers you can usually see where the mail originated from. That is the last "Received" mail header in the list of them. That may have an IP address or server name which is your clue. Looking that up will tell you where it came from.

Probably from one of the usual suspect countries.

If you post the mail headers here I can probably tell you where it came from. (Obfuscate your own email address). But it does need to be the full mail headers from the mail source file and not just what you normally see in your email program.

I doubt firstcall know anything about it but you never know.

If this kind of thing gets any worse, I'll end up using coin of the realm and arranging personal pick-up

Come to think of it, that's exactly what I used to do when I first started back in 2003/4. Nova darkroom was handy then being at Warwick
