And a heck of a life. If I live to be twice his age I'd be lucky to see and capture any of what he got

Interestingly he seems to have stuck to film, assuming the 2 cameras round his neck in the 2015 photo were analogue

If the shots were for publication within a few hours or even a couple of days later this must have given him some special problems compared digital

No, those are digital M series Leicas - there's no rewind crank on the end of the top plate and I can see the buttons at the left-hand side of the rear screen.

Its sad news that we have lost Tom Stoddart a great photographer and a decent man ,we also lost Mick rock ,Mister rock n roll he defiantly lived the life .
The one I am not looking forward to going is David bailey , been a hero of mine most of my photographic life ,but sadly never met him .
