Hi Alex,
Well received today. Photo of a dreamland, where I very much hope to go once in my life, the Scottish highlands. With a very interesting subject in the foreground and the landscape up to the hills on the horizon, this gives a great impression of the location. Two prints of the same image, where I agree that the darker one is a bit more subtle. Best wishes, Frank |

That was quick, Frank! I’m glad you liked the print. I certainly hope you make the trip sometime. You won’t be disappointed.

And the two prints and a long informative letter has been received, with thanks Buzz.
It's great to see new members joining the forum and then enjoying the PE's. Of the two prints that Buzz has sent to me, being one a coastal view of the sea and its horizon and the second of a 'recently found after 12 years' bridge over a river, surrounded by trees, I think I prefer the second, which has a dark and moody tone to it. Both are great prints and show that Buzz has got back into the darkroom without any worries. Many thanks, Terry S Last edited by Terry S; 24th March 2021 at 03:38 PM. |

Mine now on its way as it sneaks in under the wire (partly due to me printing and then not liking the original print and partly due to my usual last-minute-dashing-around-like-decapitated-chicken-in-barnyard activity that seems to be my modus-operandi regardless of how many plans I write out on post-it notes stuck to the fridge). To paraphrase Douglas Adams: "I love deadlines. I love the whooshing sound they make as they fly past").

I’m just home to find a really super print from Bob. It is a very unusual, and eyecatching view of a Sunflower, in its rather unusual environment. The print is very sharp, has a very effective limited depth of field, and a great warm tone. I really like it. Bob also sent a postcard print from the British Museum, which is also a great composition.
Many thanks, Bob, I am delighted with the prints. Alex. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Glad you like it and that it reached you so quickly Alex. Given that the post box I put the print in only claimed to be collected from at 4:30pm yesterday, that's pretty good going to reach you in today's post.
I'll upload a copy to the gallery. Cheers, Bob |
