Thanks so much Xpres. I don't know what else to say, I'm lost words by the generosity of your offer regardless of whether you find the piece or not. It's not just yourself, everyone has been so kind, thoughtful and decent towards me on here. It's really overwhelmed me and vindicated my decision to give up on digital and return to film. If you want to sell any other parts either now or in the future I'd be very interested in buying them.

Best wishes and thanks,

Alan

I had a problem posting this sorry if I posted it several times...

I've been half heartedly looking for a reasonably priced AN glass for my L1200 - €69.25 sounds reasonable for a new FEMOGLA AN, then I looked at the FEMOGLA T...... €501.95

That's for when using the varipoint head and printing electron microscope images. There were specially coated condensors too which were even more expensive. Just found them under the B+W head. FEMOCON 151-T and FEMOCON 152-T. Only just over €2200 for the pair.

Us mere mortals don't need that special coating for our pictorial images.

Note that the remaining spares that durst have are limited and don't include everything you might be looking for.

Alan, good luck with the M805. I had a M800 which served me well for many years. They used to make a cold cathode attachment which just slotted into the head once the condensers were removed but I suspect these would be as rare as 'hens teeth' these days and limited to graded papers.

Enjoy.

Yes, Durst Danoli head. I had one with my M800 a long time ago but have kept it just in case. I don't know why though, really, as I have a cathomag for cold light.

I have found a spare set. I can't see any scratches but they need a clean.

Thanks again...would wetting agent be the suitable for washing them? I heard of people cleaning focusing screens with it.

Best Wishes,

Alan
