Welcome! This is a quite civilized little corner of the wild Internets, I'd say you chose well!

It occurs to me that it's been YEARS since I last enjoyed a big bowl of rhubarb and custard, or a slice of warm rhubarb tart (also smothered in custard). Don't even know where I'd find the stuff over here, I don't recall seeing it in any stores. My grandmother used to grow it in a corner of her back garden.

Welcome. I'm on the edge of West Yorks. almost into black pudding country and though I admit that rhubarb has its medicinal qualities school dinners have forever put me off the idea of eating it for pleasure.
