I've been enjoying the 2 very large and 1 postcard sized print sent to me by Uwe over the weekend.
The first, a delicate snow scene with an abundance of dof. I particularly like the paw prints in the snow bringing life to a snowy wilderness. The second, a derelict building with a feast of textures. And last but not least, a personal note on the back of a hand coloured postcard depicting a sunflower. The photographs were also embossed which caught my eye. My thanks, Uwe.

...and delivered today!
Received two beautiful prints from PanFrank, accompanied by a hand written letter. Two images that were taken in the south of Tirol; beautiful landscapes shot near the entrance of the Pfossental. As a landscape fanatic, I can really appreciate them! The vertical shot is my favorite of the two, showing a small water stream leading the viewer towards the mountain in the background of the image. The mountaintops in the back are partially covered by a layer of fog, giving the image that little extra. The second image shows the houses in the mountains where people used to live before, but nowadays they're only used during the summer time. You get a view over the roof of one of them, leading your eyes towards the mountains in the background. Well exposed images with nice details in both highlights and shadows, well done! Both images were printed on Frank's last two sheets of Adox MCP paper in glossy finish, a very nice paper of which I am lucky to still have a few sheets left in Pearl finish. I certainly do hope Adox will be able to take it back in production! Thank you Frank! |
