Default STOLEN Luton UK Zeiss-Ikon 520/16

Stolen from the Round Green area of Luton 28/2/21 between 5pm and 10pm

Zeiss-Ikon 520/16 with Novar Anastigmat lens. This camera has a unique modification of a cold shoe which allows the viewfinder to be slid on and off, and swapped. Huge sentimental value as it was my late father's camera, which he taught me the basics of photography as a very young child.

Not worth much but whoever took it may try hawking it around. Due to the modification it's recognisable.

Bad luck about this. I saw your thread about it on Photrio but the U.K. members who are anywhere near Luton are unfortunately few in number.. The best thing is if we have a few friends other than yourself in the Luton area who may get a "sniff of it" via camera sellers, camera fairs or even antique markets they know locally.

At least once a week I look at the folding medium format cameras on the well known auction site.
With that modification on it, it should be easy to spot it if it shows up.

Good Luck.
