Default Durst AC 707

Hello
Does anyone know if the Durst AC 707 enlargers, colour and BW, take the same attachments, - neg carrier, lenses and holder, masks etc? My Autocolor has died, and I thought it would be easier to find a new one so my bits and pieces fitted, rather than buy a different make or model, and have to search the net for the parts to fit the new one. I've seen a BW one for sale, but will need to wait until after New Year before I can phone them about it, but in the meantime it would be great if I could get some advance info.
Thanks everyone.

Hello Shane, I have the Durst L1200, L900 and M805 series enlargers most with diffuser and condenser heads and I can happily confirm that all parts are interchangeable within a series and sometimes across series for particular formats.

However I don't have your specific enlarger.

When you say it has died, what has happened? There is a small fuse in the back of the transformer that sometimes blows or does not make a good connection. Check this and if it powers up check your bulb connections these sometimes corrode.

Hi. The bulb holder has cracked with the heat over the years, so can't hold the bulb in properly, so I get flickering light, or none at all. It's a sealed unit, so unlikely I'll be able to find a replacement. Also, the cog wheel that adjusts the head up and down the column has almost lost all its teeth. Only about 3 or 4 left, so that will need replacing too. I've had it 17 years, and it was secondhand then, so it's lasted me well for the £300 it cost, which included all the accessories and 2 Rodenstock lenses. Can't get bargains like that anymore.
