Hello all
i'm located on the western side of the pond in one of the former colonies, Massachusetts. Just turned 72 and have been shooting it seems about forever. Started with an Exa then Pentax Spotmatic finally a brace of Topcons. MF went from a Yashica mat next Kiev and finally Mamiya RB. 4 X 5 s are a Omega monorail and Speedgraphic. And of course there is a Canon digital used mainly in idiot mode which does a very good job.
The current darkroom is in an ell in the cellar which will be the last. It has all the amenities. no running water no drain and no ventilation but it works two enlargers include an Omega D II for 4 X 5 and a Durst M 800 for the rest. i do both color E6 or C41 and of course BW either in trays or a Jobo. Interests include still life some times on a light table, scenics and architecture sometimes the odd person will get into the shot or be the subject. |

Welcome to FADU, Joe. At least the time difference is just about manageable in terms of "sleep time" although we in the U.K. and Europe may be "off-air" in terms of immediate responses by mid-evening Massachusetts time but analogue photography isn't instant either so not to worry

Welcome aboard Joe.
At least a basement keeps a fairly stable temperature - not something I can claim for my south-facing spare bedroom/darkroom - it was 32 degrees C (90F) in there today (tho that does not happen often in England ). Continue to enjoy your time in the dark :-). Cheers, Bob. |
