Smile A Warboys Hello

Just signed up after following a link from the Postal Photogaraphic Club website.
I joined the PPC in the Summer and am a member of C2 of which Dave Miller is a member (Hi Dave). Although fairly new to the PPC I have been taking pictures since I was 16 when my late Father gave me a Fed 4 rangefinder. By the time I was 18 I had developed my first roll of FP4 with help from a kind older member of Caister Camera Club. My first darkroom was in a small cupboard in my parents bedroom, second was the bathroom, third was a corner of my first flat in Leigh on Sea, third was the small room in our first proper house - then came along James so had a break for 2 years before building my first purpose built darkroom in my garage in Rayleigh. Moved to Warboys in 2000 and built garage darkroom mark 2 which is still in active use. I have a Magnafax 4a, Kaiser 6002, several Beard easels, a Nova Quad processor, Nova slot washer and a RH designs F Stop timer.
The thing that really transformed my darkroom experience was buying the second hand Quad processor from Second Hand Darkroom supplies in Oxfordshire. I can now begin printing within a few minutes of going in.

I could go on, but needless to say I have a love of Black and White Photography, I love using manual cameras and making prints in my little dark room.....:

Welcome Andrew, glad you found your way here. That makes five Circle 2 members here, with a couple others representing other (lesser) circles.

Hi Andrew and welcome. By present day prices I paid a fortune for my secondhand Nova Quad in 2003 but without it I don't think I'd have really got going.

This is very much a team effort Andrew. If it weren't for Barry and Bob, and of course everyone who contributes it wouldn't exist.
