Default Pentax Digital Spotmeter

Does anyone know what the lens cap size is for the Pentax Digital Spotmeter? Mine came with a 37.5 mm skylight filter as a lens cap, and I've tried a couple of UK repairers to see if they have a replacement. By my measurements, it should be 42mm, but I've tried a metal Leitz cap for 39mm lenses that is supposed to be have an internal diameter of 42mm, but it was too small. It would appear to be something like 43mm.

Where can I get a suitable cap?

And I'd also like the rubber eyecup, as well, if that's not asking too much!

Thanks

Nick

Mine measures 44mm, but that's eye-balling through a plastic rule.

I don't use the lens cap on mine at all (although I do have one) - the lens is pretty well protected anyway, having a recessed front element, and a lens cap is just one more thing to lose in the field. In several years of use I've never had any problems, and just wipe the lens clean with a cloth occasionally. So perhaps you might want to consider sticking with just the skylight filter for protection.

Ed.
