The meter arrived today. Boxed, but missing the diffuser. Can't. complain though as it was only £3.99 including the postage. Any suggestions for using a substitute diffuser?

I would imagine that a piece of either tracing paper or grease proof paper held below the lens should do the trick. Was the missing item mentioned in the ad at all?

I've just finished printing up some bits for a print exchange, so on top of newer things, I hope to try out my Paterson meter and diffuser soon and will report back.

As long as it works as it is meant to, then £3.99 is a bargain even without a diffuser

Will £3.99 even get you a cappuccino in London these days?

I suddenly remembered that there are two swing filters on my enlarger. A red and also a diffuser. I had almost forgot about it. Sorry for the unecessary post.
Thanks to everyone.
