Under Glass exhibition, Paris
Slightly late notice here, but my exhibition, Under Glass opened in Paris last Friday at Le Petit Choiseul, 23, Rue Saint Augustin 75002 Paris, and runs until 28th November. I've created a website www.underglass.org for this show. The site contains a selection of the monochrome silver print images I'm showing of the Passages of Paris, together with a blog and background information on the project, as well as opening times etc. etc

Interesting, Ted. I found all your best shots, in my opinion, contained a people element. Having seen a number of H. C-B shots in a book called, I think, "A Propos Paris" that most of his and certainly his best shots had people in them.
Maybe Paris is a people city - if that makes any sense Mike |

[QUOTE=Mike O'Pray;97978]Interesting, Ted. I found all your best shots, in my opinion, contained a people element. .........
Thanks Mike. In fact when I took up photography seriously in 2007, I set myself the parameters that I would... only shoot on film, only in black and white and that all my images would contain a human element. And today, I'm still in the same straight jacket! But when producing a project for an exhibition like Under Glass, I was always aware that I would have to vary the composition of the images. So even though they all contain a human element, in some photos the human content is obvious, but in others is it is extremely subtle. Some people "in your face" – others almost hiding! |
