Default Good Mamiya / Bronica retailer

Recently I have been upgrading / changing my MF gear and have purchased a few items (lenses etc.) from this retailer who specialises in Mamiya and Bronica equipment.

Rather me explain it all here I recommend you visit Ian's site and read all about it. He is a professional and uses Mamiya and Bronica and knows what he is talking about.

You will get good service, keen prices, reliable descriptions and feel you have been looked after.

Check out:

Thanks for the link Neil

I keep flirting with the idea of getting a MF kit - probably a RB67 of some flavour.

Thanks

Martin

Hi Martin,

You don't often come across a seller like Ian who only sells what he uses and has some good experience with professionally, over a large number of years. If you are thinking about treating yourself to either a Mamiya or Bronica (and why not!) do checkout what he has to offer. And if you don't see what you are after get in touch with Ian as he may have it on a shelf somewhere.

Happy New Year!

Neil.

Bookmarked. Quite a neat website.

It has a lot of PDF documentation on various Mamiya and Bronica (& a few other brands) items in a very orderly fashion. Thanks Neil.

Hi,
Ian tells me he has built his resource bank of Mamiya / Bronica manuals / info sheets up from items he has acquired over many years in the trade, and scanned them all in himself. A lot of this is in colour - which you won't see on the Butkus site.

Wind the clock forward a few more years, and the only source of info on some of these fantastic camera systems will be enthusiast websites - it's going to be a real struggle to find people with the knowhow or inclination to repair and maintain the sorts of cameras we enjoy using!

Three mamiya systems here, a C3 TLR, a 645 AFD setup with various lenses (and a digital ZD body although that's unmentionable here) and an RZ67 setup again with lenses from a 30mm fisheye through to a 180mm portrait lens. I'm pretty sure mamiya never made a duff camera or lens, but they are clearly on the larger and more robust end of the spectrum!

Thanks Neil. Just mentioned about his site on APUG. The more people know about his stores (and other of this type) the better.

Default UPDATE on IanB Foto

I have been chatting to Ian today and he tells me that he does not list all his stock in one go, so if there is something you want and can't see it listed contact him as it is highly likely be in his unlisted stock.

Stop it. I have been looking at moving into MF and Mamiya cameras in particular. I do not need this constant prodding 😜
