Default Wanted. Diopter for RB67

The diopter in the waist level finder for my Mamiya RB67 is the standard -1.5. Unfortunately it doesn't suit my eyesight; (I need reading glasses ) I believe Mamiya made +1 +2 and +3 strength diopters, and guess I need one of them, but am not sure which. I have run up against a brick wall trying to buy a new one. Does anyone here have a used one for sale, or know where I might get one?

Alan

Thanks Dave. They have it listed, but unfortunately they don't actually have it.

It occurs to me that your optician aught to be able to tell you which strength you require. I also read somewhere that Japanese viewfinders were set to -1 as standard because that suits the average Japanese eyesight.

I bought one for a Nikon from Gray's of Westminster. They had a little optical device which you adjusted to get a sharp hairline and then read the Dioptre required from a scale on the unit.

Thanks again Dave. I will try my optician, but on the basis that I'm going to need something with a + in front of it and Mamiya made +1, 2 and 3, and they all seem as rare a rocking horse manure, I'd be happy to take anything with a +.
I have also got Ffordes looking for me again.

Have you tried Calumet? They may have one on a dusty shelf.
