Default Cameraderie: the movie

I have filmed a summary of my camera building on YouTube covering 17 years of making and mods. It includes film shots in colour and black and white, and one or two instances of bare skin.

It began as a breakaway from my habitual use of 35mm cameras and as an alternative to emergent digital imaging. It was not a rejection of either, simply the realisation that there were many other avenues to explore in photography.

Thanks, Sandeha, I watched it all the way through and really enjoyed it.
What an interesting and varied life your photography has had and it has certainly led to some unique forms of expression!

Ditto to everything Marty says: a very well formed photographic formula!

Sandeha, I watched your film and found it interesting and well made, I have viewed other similar films and found the narrator tended to go and on but his was not the case with your film. Well done.

Thanks, BiT. I'll admit I rarely watch other people's 'home movies', perhaps for the reason you give. 30 years of teaching language skills in the classroom may have helped.

And you two guys, too, very pleased to hear you enjoyed it.

Thank you for showing us that.Very enjoyable. Put my small efforts at cobbling together bits of old cameras and lenses some years ago into the shade, I didn't have you skills or dedication but I did enjoy doing it though.

I really enjoyed the video ,it put my handy work to shame, but I couldn't have done what you did. it was fascinating seeing the cameras evolve.
Great stuff ,waiting to see more.
Thanks sandeha
