Thanks Rob. I think that you are saying that at 1+5 it does give a little more warmth even with neutral papers

I consider Bromophen as their best print developer.

I've used several print developers over time and now find Bromophen my favourite. Ilfospeed, PQ Universal (recommended by a member of staff at Mathers of Lancashire), Multigrade and Agfa Neutol, plus stuff supplied in college darkrooms which I gave up in favour of Ilfospeed and in the past Jessops own label.I got on with all of them except Neutol which I found exhausted in the dish before the end of a session giving muddy results.
