Cancel my last
The potential buyer of the Bronica changed his/her mind and the seller contacted me. It is on it's way to me but it will be after Xmas when it arrives. He is not charging post either!

Rather late I know, but finally I have some items on the way to have a play with; a 75mm lens holder and a plastic meniscus lens of 250mm focal length.
I was thinking along the lines of a 4x5" or 8x10" Holga effect! If the results are interesting enough, I'll no doubt let you know! Here's the website: http://amazingcameraobscura.co.uk/shop.htm

How on earth do you decide which lens would be fun to play with?!?!? No photographic related stuff for me this year, but lots of other lovely goodies. Terry S |

Next, I wanted a simple, plastic, holgaesque lens of 75mm diameter to fit into the holder, so I went for the shortest meniscus lens which is 250mm. That's a long lens on 4x5" and a slight wide on 8x10". By the way, I have absolutely no idea what to expect but I thought it might be fun and trivial and I didn't really want to go the proper Holga camera route even with mods. I quite like the Holga effect but think I might find the camera itself too limited and frustrating. Too be continued...

Just out of curiosity, can you remember which diameter size, focal length and format you got it for?

At last I have found the time to get out and about with the Bronnie. I used (Or more like wasted) 2 x 120 B&W films on a nice sunny day, (almost like spring). I will be winding up the processor for this evenings work so fingers crossed

Thanks for the link Marty. I went down a rabbit hole about Vermeer's paintings!
