Default Ilford multigrade 500H system - Anything to look out for?

I'd like to know anything about issues with this system and things to check if aquiring one...

No just Multigraph and VLS...


I used an Ilford 500 system on a DeVere at college many moons ago.
I keep telling myself;

The main thing to look out for is that the system is complete. By this I mean that it has all three mixing boxes with their relevant locating plates, head, transformer and control pad. The foot-switch is a useful addition but I have never found the probe to be of any help.

You need to check whether the lamps are still made. I know one of the Multigrade systems aren't. Alex
