Default Leitz Focomat IIC

Does anyone own/use one of these enlargers; a Leitz Focomat IIC or something very similar?

I had one a few years ago. Sold it when I turned to digital. What a mistake. I am now on the lookout for another but they are either ridiculously expensive or to far away. It was my main enlarger and a fantastic piece of kit. It is a shame they don't make them like that any more.

I have most of one in the basement. Bought it for the Ilford 500 head which I mounted on a Beseler 45. I might fix it up again some day

Default Focomat 11c

I do. Why do you ask?
I have one with an Ilford 500 head mounted directly onto the negative stage. I have seen others with the Ilford 500 head mounted onto the lower half of the lamp housing. This makes the whole enlarger taller; as I have limited headroom in my cellar this is a bonus as it means I can go to the top of the autofocus which I would not be able to do with the other configuration. I use it up to 10 x 12 ", for 35 mm and 6 x7 cm . For prints above that I have a Durst DA 900 with autofocus up to 16 x 12 ". For 16 x 20 " I have to focus manually.
Was there something you wanted to know?
Richard
