Of course it'll be blurred, it's a pinhole camera!

Managed to build a camera this morning with the help of my youngest...

Made from pizza packaging and some foil for the pinhole. Bottle top and duck tape for the shutter.

Should have some results by this evening!

Signed by your Creative Director, too, Xpres ?

I don't know what the weather was like elsewhere but it was perishing cold in Durham. Hail stones of all things! I think all my images will be wobbly ones from shivering.

Weather wasn't too bad later on in the afternoon. The boys camera worked OK and they got some results...

They used Grade 2 Ilford 6x4 which was a perfect fit in their box if you curved it round.

I was less succesful... in fact messed up. I used some Harman positive paper in my 10x8 box but forgot abut the red safelight and left my very bright Dukas on, totally fogging everything I put in the film holders!

This was the only one with anything visible...

It was great fun with the kids though and they learnt a lot about photography in a short space of time.

Weather was, for once, absolutely fantastic in Aberdeenshire. Sunny and blue sky all day.

I shot a range of subjects on four rolls using a holga-pinhole camera. Hopefully get them developed tonight.

Surely there'll be one decent shot out of 48 exposures. (!)

Niall
