Now that Kodak have reintroduced T-MAX 3200, hopefully they will restart production of HIE infra-Red B&W film too.

Interesting to speculate and that is all it can be, why Kodak chose to re-start P3200 instead of the likes of HIE. HIE due to its speed and "real" IR qualities has some unique selling points compared to P3200 which has a direct rival in D3200.

Perhaps the investment required compared to the likely sales generated favoured P3200 rather than HIE
