Default updating screens

buying focusing screens for my Nikon f2s in mint condition is becoming a impossibility they always seem to have marks on... later screens for f3 and f4 cameras seem to be in better condition... anybody know if you can swap the innards over and if you can will it focus ok and take light reading accurately......
