I voted "Other".
My go-to format these days is 7x9.5" or 18x24cm. Mainly because I shoot a lot of 35mm film and 35mm fits that size very well.
Sometimes I crop them in a little and then print on 8x10.
Or much smaller, like 5x7" as I was gifted a lot of paper in that size.

The biggest size I can currently print is 10x12" but that happens very rarely. I think I made only 4 or 5 prints of that size since I've started about 1.5-2 years ago.

I should think in most cases paper size. The exact dimensions of the image will naturally depend on negative format and artistic interpretation.

Personally, I prefer to print full neg. and also for my prints to have generous borders +/- 4cms on 40x50cm paper.

Concerning some restrictions in my last darkroom I printed 12x16" standards from 4x5"/5x7" negatives.
I make contact prints from 12x16" incamera-negatives, too.

In my actual darkroom I will print 16x20" and 20x24" as my standards next.
But I want to print some 70x100cm prints as non standard, too.

I am not interested suiting something.
First I fill my negatives with light, then I project my negative to the easel; here I have to choose the best excerpt.
So it's just the print who will ask for the paper's format.
Cutting the paper from a roll makes this step easier, too.

From August on I will start with alternative/ancient processes which probably will end in 16x20" and 20x24" standard sizes.

I voted 9.5 x 12 but also print a lot of 8 x 10 I find it difficult to print anything under these sizes. During lock down I started printing 10 x 14 a size a may use more often

Default Print size

I was in a postal circle which was restricted to 12 sq. inch print area. That was fun, using a longer focal length enlarger lens to get enlarger height & longer exposure times so as to allow dodging & burning. I found it much more difficult to be precise than on larger prints. But it was economical.

I have enjoyed for a while, producing smaller prints for the Print Exchanges, at about 5" x 4" size from 35mm negatives and they look good in the hand.

But 12 sq inches, now that really is getting small, at about 4" x 3" prints! I must try to see how small I can make a print before I consider it just a little too small...

Thanks to everyone who participated.

I'm surprised that we are printing in larger sizes than I was expecting.

I was expecting 80% to be 10x8.

It gives me sympathy for Ilford and Co who have to handle quite so many differing paper sizes.
