Thanks everyone for your messages of welcome.

Yes I think this film business should come with a government health warning but like everything else thats not good for you or your pocket you just need to give in every so often to satisfy your desires!

I enjoy photographing where I live in the country but when it comes to film I like photographing people, buildings perhaps street or urban might describe it best. I recently took both my Kodak 127 and the Canon AE-1 on holiday and have just developed the photographs, will post some in the cc thread for some pointers on what I am doing wrong or right as the case maybe.

Hi Carol welcome to FADU. Best of luck with the developing, it is only a short hop from developing film to printing.

Hi Carol and welcome to the forum. I like your "lunch" photograph in the album. Did you buy the Brownie recently or is it an old family camera?

Hi Carol, and welcome to FADU.
Really good to see someone join and put up an album straight away- great calling card.
Now, I'm pretty sure the Busker is Inverness, and the woman having coffee is Edinburgh. But the Bridge . . . where is that??

Hi Jakecb thanks it's my favourite of the set too.
The Kodak Brownie 127 (1963) I picked up at a boot sale just a few months ago, never seen one before as I have only recently got into film. Had to do a bit of research to find out what film it took and where to source it, youtube and another photography forum which I am also a member of were very very helpful. It's because of this camera that I have ended up processing my own B&W film, as nowhere near me does specialized processing and did not want to send them away.
