Default Win an £8000 Leica M!

Is anybody entering Black and White Photography's Black and White Photographer of the Year contest? It's a fiver to enter but the prize is tasty - an M Monochrome with 35mm Summicron ASPH.

They're looking for three contemporary images of any subject that hang together as a set. More here: www.bpoty.com

Apologies if someone has already posted this - just saw it today.

I will not be entering, having had a quick look it appears that this is now aimed more towards the digital photographer as is the magazine. also the entry requirements with regards to producing computer files Etc would be beyond my very limited computer skills, I feel that my time is better employed out and about with my cameras and spending time in my darkroom.

You could buy awful lot of film and paper with the proceeds of the prize, but I don't have the computer skills to even enter the competion, let alone win, My computer skills are very limited,

This is a competition for digital entries as last year with a digital camera prize; it's not for me.

Let others play with their computer images, I don't mind but I'm not with them.

I did submit my entry for this year in two of the single images categories. I do not expect anything out of it. I did so to support traditional photography, and to show to the organizers that there are (former) subscribers of the magazine out there who work using traditional methods.

Dave you have been selling off so much darkroom gear recently I felt sure that you had moved to the other side. Glad to see that you are still amongst us.

Good idea, Leo. I'd have probably done the same if I weren't so disorganised!
