Default For Sale: Nikon F3/MD-4 Boxed

Nikon F3 with MD-4 both boxed in original boxes but no manuals.
Slight brassing to the camera baseplate on the rewind end otherwise shows light signs of use.
No lens included but comes with a genuine Nikon bodycap.

Looking for £275 or nearest offer.

I wish you luck Shaun. The problem might be the competition you'll have from the F2 range which seems sought after and nowadays some F100s at about the same price and even some F5s at only slightly more.

Let us know how it goes or give us the item number and I will watch it just to see how it goes.

I am always surprised at how e-bay auctions go.

To be prefectly honest, I really don't care if it doesn't sell. I thought I would give it a try to attempt to buy a lens for my Pentax 67 but it is not essential. I do understand that the F5 is in direct competition as I have one of those as well but I do not see where the F100 fits in as it is a typical modern plastic feeling Nikon.

All I can do is wait and see I guess. One way or the other I am not really bothered which is a good position to be in.

I have just been out onto Pickering Railway Station with the F3/MD-4 combination in glorious technicolour sunshine and I can honestly say that it is the finest camera combination I have ever used. I had a 50mm f1.4 lens on it and it was loaded with Ilford FP4+ that I shall develop in Paterson FX-39. At the moment, the station is in the middle of a steam gala week with two Pacific A4 locomotives here along with 'Britannia' and the place is looking good but from tomorrow, I am back to work until next Monday.

So, on the basis of what I have experienced today, I still don't care if it doesn't sell.

Shaun, nice town and great railway station deserving of a good camera like the F3.

Dave, on the watch list thanks
