Default Hello from sunny Reading

Hi all, I'm Paul and I've just stumbled on this site by accident following links via J Brunner's site and Dave's An English Eye.

I'm an enthusiastic film photographer who has trouble sticking to any one format for long, so I use 35mm slrs & rangefinders, mf slr & tlr and somehow recently ended up with a Super Graphic 4x5 that I'll have to find something to point at!

Had a long break from darkroom work and came back to it about 2 years ago. I obviously didn't learn much before the break, always chasing something new, so I'm learning it all from scratch now.

I'm a subscriber over at APUG too, I have a number of posts as ITD.

I hope this forum will grow into a very useful resource and sociable meeting place - it's nice to have something which has roots in the UK for a change.

Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul,
Welcome to fadu and I hope your stay will be a long and happy one. There is nothing wrong in owning all those cameras - you can never have too many types

Cheers,

Neil.

Hi Paul and welcome aboard! London's been pretty sunny for the last few days too ...

I'm in much the same boat as you: too many cameras in too many formats. In my case, not always enough time to point them at things as often as I would like...

Have fun, Bob.

Hello Paul, and Welcome.

Glad that you stumbled upon us. The more the merrier. I am in total agreement with you that it is nice to belong to a forum that has it's roots on English soil.

Enjoy your stay
