Received from Richard, a pair of prints. One is particularly wacky, featuring a giant willow toad 'sculpture' (or topiary??) and the second print of a more modest leaping willow toad.
Shot square, which might be my favourite shape, and well printed on Adox MCC paper. Many thanks Richard. |

And received today.
A delicately soft landscape taken in one of my favourite places, Iceland. Printed square on lovely Adox MCC110 with characteristically smooth Fuji Across tones. I like it a lot and it reminds me I must go back sometime. Many thanks Fran.

Just home to find Frank’s print waiting for me. It is a very interesting, perhaps abstract image of a frozen water feature in a park in Trier. I’m very pleased with it as it is an unusual subject, carefully printed at higher contrast to enhance the very graphic effect. The paper is Adox MCP which I have never seen before. It has an almost metallic appearance, similar to Cibachrome. I am delighted with it, and hope it will appear in the Gallery. Thanks, Frank. Alex Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Hi Alex,
I am glad that you like it. Lately I am experimenting a lot with different views on different subjects and different techniques. It's nice with film photography that you only see how it worked after processing. This one was the most abstract of the series and I immediately liked it. Frank |
