Mine's gone off. Really sorry for the lateness, life's been a bit crazy lately.

Both prints are very good efforts.

The print of the buildings in Fowey, actually has more contrast than the other print of Goss Morr, so I don't think you have to worry too much about the Fotospeed Pro Art paper going off.

Both are very good compositionally, and the only thing I could add is that the picture of Goss more is a little lacking in contrast. It seems to have had the correct exposure but may need printing an extra grade up. This of course is in the eye of the beholder and you may of course prefer it how you've done it.

Enjoy and keep it up!

Terry
Thanks for the feedback, I'll have another go at the Goss Moor one when I get a chance.

Also, earlier today I have received a very nice print from Derek Lincoln showing a cozy corner of a garden in a south France with outdoor oven, stone stairs and plethora of partly sunlit plants. I really like the contrast between sunlit and shaded parts.
There are few spotted dots on the print - really good work as they can only be detected from a certain angle due to a glare on paper.
Thanks for a lovely print Derek.

Jakub
Thanks for your comments Jakub, I am pleased you enjoyed it. I am always tense when I spot a print - afraid that I am going to make it worse! Glad you received the print at the new address.

Derek

Well received, Bob, and I like it very much. Ideal framing of a very beautiful waterfall and the bit longer exposure time results in a magnificent flow of the water while contrasting nicely with the rocks. The print is superb. Thanks! :-)

Just received a superb 'double' print from Chisel. A very thought-provoking pair of 6x6 images taken at Auschwitz, Poland. Images that go beyond photography. Thanks

Hi Jakub, I received your 2 photos today and I like them both very much. For better or for worse, I’m very fond of this kind of subject matter and find myself drawn to it. Call it classical, romantic, pictorial or modernist it doesn’t really matter because I find it timeless.

I think you’re very perceptive to my taste so thank you very much.

Kind regards,
Martin

PS thanks for the letter and I hope you’re settling in to your new home nicely.

Hey, I'm glad that you liked the prints (personally, I'd be happier if the barn one was done either with shorter lens - to hide the hill behind - or on larger film as the trees got bit mushy) and that I got your taste of subject matter right - probably I got inspired by the photo you used in your paper test albums

Jakub

And received yesterday at work - sorry - didn't reply sooner as I fell into bed from work last night (and it had to be redirected to our new offices so that probably added a day or two to delivery time).

Nice blur in the water and layered clouds to contrast with the hard-edged rocks. And shot with my favourite shutter speed for water too @ 1/2 second making the water wispy and not milky like longer exposures tend to!

Looks cold despite the sun.

Thanks Rob, a great shot

Cheers, Bob.
