Talking Thanks Tony!

Hi folks.

Just a quick note that Tony Marlow pointed out to me that he still had the "Print Exchange Manager" title against his posts after Mike Heller kindly took over that responsibility some months ago so I have moved the title over to Mike's account as Tony suggested.

I would like to publicly thank Tony (which I fear I did not do at the time as I was not sure if Mike taking over was a permanent or temporary thing) for all the effort he has put in since the very first Print Exchange way back in November 2008! Without Friends like Tony, the forum would be very much the poorer.

Cheers! Bob.

Here, here and good of Mike to take over. I suspect there is a lot more work has to go into this than might meet the eye at first glance

I agree with Mike, reckon it must be a lot of work.

Also may I add my thanks to everyone else that helps run, maintain and control "us motley crew" making this a safe and friendly forum.

A big heart felt thank you.

Ian

A great many thanks to Tony for all of his many years of hard work and dedication to running the print exchange rounds.
And in the same breath, a very big thank you to Mike for picking up the ball and running with it.

It's a credit to the forum team to have such a seamless handover.

Thank you, Tony. Your efforts over the years were greatly appreciated. The Print Exchanges have kept my photography active from month to month, and I’m sure it is the same for many others.
Thanks also to Mike for stepping up and keeping the show running.

No more hiding for me then when I come unstuck!

I have a simplified the job a little but couldn't have done it without Tony's support and suggestions earlier in the constant learning curve.

Thanks, Mike

Yes, well done to all that do anything on the forum.

In my previous photographic society, I took on a number of posts whilst there, the busiest being the syllabus secretary for a number of years. Although I enjoyed doing it, it did involve a lot of 'hidden / behind the scenes' work on my part, whilst members just had to turn up once a week. So I know that much needs to be done to keep this forum running. So again, well done and thank you to everyone involved in keeping this great forum going, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly and into the future.

Thankyou for all your kind words they are much appreciated. I must express my gratitude and respect to Mike for taking over and for the months of hard work he put in to develop a system to create a much simpler way to sort the exchanges. What he has done is way beyond my computer skills, I am still in the slide rule and log tables era.
